Then there’s your mother. The person who caused every injury on your small form. She was an egotistical woman, the only reason she didn’t send you away to an orphanage was because she liked getting praised for a cute and smart 6-year-old daughter, that she used as a punching bag if you stepped one foot out of line. Yes, you were very smart indeed. You were a very smart girl for you age, and even knew at least 10 songs on the piano.
You were also smart enough to figure out something was wrong with this picture.
Stumbling, you sat below a tall oak as the full moon cast silhouettes along the very identical trees. Pulling your knees to your chest, you tried to calm your breathing down as you hiccuped.
"Why does m-mommy hate me? I-I'm not a bad girl..." You spoke quietly to yourself when you failed to hear the small crunch of leaves and twigs underfoot.
"I even gave her a picture of her, that I worked so hard on! She ripped it... why?" A warm tear slid down your face as you played with black ribbon that was tied to the small white dress that you were wearing.
"What are you doing here, child?" You squeaked as your eyes darted upward. You burst into tears at the sight. There was tall faceless being, with tentacles whipping behind his back like an angry cat tail. But he wasn't mad at all.
If it was possible, he felt..sympathy.
Sighing, Slenderman sat down on the forest floor. Your eyes widened as you stopped crying immediately. Taking in his appearance for the second time, you giggled slightly as you moved a (H/c) lock away from you face. You could imagine him raising a questioning brow as the creature tried to figure out why you acted so strange all of a sudden.
"It looks like you have one of those octopuses on your back, sir!" You giggled as you swayed back and forth.
Slenderman thought it was adorable to see you so happy like this, but he would never admit it.
Slenderman got up and dusted dirt of his black dress pants as your slightly bloodshot eyes looked up at him with curiosity. You got up slowly and grabbed one of his large fingers as you wrapped your small hand around it. You smiled up at him as he shook his head.
"I will have to make an exception for this one. The others probably won't like it, but they will have to get used to her." Slenderman said under his breath.
"Let's go child, for your suffering will end."
